Default Ohio Barns & BarnStormers....

While I was out on business traveling back east last week, I was able to take in some sights from Ohio. I took the looooooong way to the airport - went looking for barns, since I had a very late flight.

So along with the barns, I came across some barnstormers, too......

I also came across another barn. Actually, I came across several more, but it was difficult to park the car and go get a shot on the others (something about drainage ditches along the roadside).

... now the barnstormers - The USAF Aircraft Museum at Wright Patterson was an interesting place to spend a few hours. I have to say it was dark - very dark in there, so these were off a tripod running about 6 seconds or so. I used the 12-24 at f4 for just about everything......

Great photos indoors & out - shows your talents well!
The barns look much neater and better-maintained than most in our neighborhood.
Your museum photos are both especially great - wonderfully composed, and such fine use of the (limited) light!

Well done! Classic examples of Ohio barns. # 1 is my favorite.

The photos at WPAM are very nicely done with the low available light. Love the P51 mustang shot.

Interested-

Thanks very much for the photo treat. The barns are great , but the Wright-Pat Museum was the frosting on the cake. Having been there myself I can attest to the miserable lighting. It is the dark hole of Calcutta, compared the the Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC.

Nicely done.
