Beautiful pup--I love the expression. Working with such a narrow depth of field with an f/2.8 is a challenge. It appears your sharpest focus may be on the white hair around the neck. I might have moved it forward a little so the front of the nose was not quite so soft. Still a very nice shot.

Patches at 1600 ISO or 3200 ISO will still be a lovely Patches. I think Patches is ISO resistant.
