Default December Monthly Challenge

Thanks again to all who participated in the November challenge - there were many amazing photos, and I'm still rather surprised that mine won!

For the December challenge, I wanted a theme related to the holiday/holy day many of us celebrate this month, but not too specific, so as to avoid offending those who do not celebrate.

So the theme for December is - Joy.

Let's see your most joyful or joy-filled photo!

As usual, pictures should have been taken with a Pentax/Samsung DSLR within the past 90 days. Image size should not exceed 800 pixels on its longest side.

First, congratulations on your win. There should be no question that you won. Your waterfall shots are amazing.

Wonderful topic. And, I know exactly what I want to do. Let's just hope he cooperates.

Great topic. I've greatly enjoyed everyone's photos, and thought it's time I contribute something. We have a variety of wildlife visiting our back yard, and they all appear joyful to find something to eat. This little guy in particular just stuffed his cheeks until they were bulging and couldn't hold another kernel.

Welcome to the forum, tundraguy. That's one great image. Had me laughing just picturing the guy swinging from that spring, stuffing away.
