Default Wounded Cat

It isn't the speed that will hurt you, it is the sudden stop when things go wrong that is the problem.

Found this along the road today, just off the solid ice we presently have for pavement.

Ouch is right! I always think of snowcats as never having trouble with traction but I guess that's not true. Someday I'd like to try one, I've never been on one.

I saw the rider walking away wearing a full helmet and riding gear.

It looked like a Jr. High School boy and with his face shield up, he looked like the really bad part was yet to come when dad saw the new sled and its recent modifications.

Also, if you look at the registration sticker, it expired in 09, possibly a test ride on a FOR SALE snowmobile, not registered for this season!

Or a purchase for Christmas and a test ride before registering it. I hope it was well insured, and it looks like the boy learned a valuable, but very expensive lesson.

I have three sons which is the reason I never purchased a snowmobile.
