New entry. This is much more what I had in mind when I first saw the topic. I still might change my mind later on, but I like this shot and think it's moody in its own way.

Thanks, Mtngrl ,for your kind comment.I guess our interpretation of mood would vary as you are just experiencing what we get all winter..lol.I could submit hundreds of photos of this "mood" as we have been under a coat of hoar frost for what seems like months now.
But that's quite a dumping you got down there..a little out of the norm I would suspect..today is a snow day for us as we got a good dumping this weekend and now we have winds that are making roads impassable..One of the benefits(long weekend) of living in this clime. I love your latest entry..the sun and the shadows on the snow is beautiful..you captured it just perfect! The seasons altho they can be brutal can definitely offer great opportunity for those with cameras.

Some great photos with various expressions of mood. Kashka, when I look at your photo I see the branches on the sunlit side of the tree reaching out to embrace the light. Definitely full of mood.

This is going to be nasty to make a choice. So many different types of shots that fit the theme and are excellent photos as well!

I hope this shot from this morning actually creates a mood. I call it "Red Sky - Blue Ice". The camera's automatic white balance had problems with the brilliant sky which added the blue to the icicycle.

I don't know about the mood part, but that is one hell of a picture!
