Default A walk around the lake...

( After I posted these I realized I posted some of them before, sorry)
I think this is an immature blue heron, if anyone knows different please let me know.

A Great blue Heron

A Great Blue Heron. a bit soft but, he was quite a distance away.

Mister Blue jay was holding his own...

The wild parakeets were making quite a fuss!

And this Ibis really didn't want his photo taken. He said he can't stand the publicity

Hope you enjoyed my walk.

Thank you guys,
It was a fun walk.
John, it was a draw. We called a truce and went our separate ways.

Great to see some fine photos, and some warm sunny weather too!
I don't think the first is a GBH - our immatures are usually a more dirty brownish color. Not sure which species, but all of these are great photos!

Thank you Mole, I should have been more specific, I meant little blue, not great blue. I think I need to go look it up and see what I have.

Yep, I just looked it up and,
I'm 99.99999 percent sure that's what it is.

I agree with the LBH, but the second one is a GBH not a Tricolor.

It is a good picture, but the downside of a good picture is that it lets you catch a misidentification!
