Default A few woodland creatures

I have a Small Cooper's Hawk raiding my bird feeder at the moment so bird and squirrel shots a few and far between. Caught these when a little sun was peeking through the clouds. Very cold and hand held I think I did well. Enjoy!

Nicely done, dawg. I really like the second squirrel shot. I don't have a problem with hawks using my feeders as a buffet, but my dogs do a good job of making sure no squirrel's feet ever hit the ground.

Thanks GW and Paul. Between working a 10 hr night shift 7 days a week and doing the duties of a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, plus the really cold weather I'm finding my photo time foreshortened a bit.

Nicely done BD.

I have hawks occasionally drop into my feeder for an easy lunch. After having the normal variety of small birds when one comes swooping in it gets your attention real fast.

Looks like you are doing a good job of juggling all your responsibilities. Just keep in mind that juggling is a self defeating art.

I agree on the last and am trying to just go with the flow. Last year they paired us down to 3 days at 8 hours a day. The extra income is Not making the wife mad fer sher!! LOL

Some really nice clear shots with good views of the "critters" as well as the habitats. Sure do hope & pray that your multitude of responsibilities is not wearing you down!!

Yep, sometimes we just have to take what's available. We're seeing signs of animals around with tracks in the snow, but never see them when we're around. We know they're out there.

Good attitude on the work/home load. Go with the flow. I can certainly understand as my life lately has been going that way. (Hence, me not being on here much.) Extra work hours, family issues, car problems, computer problems. And, still all the everyday stuff that's normal. Sometimes I just want the world to stop for a little while until I can catch up!

Keep the faith that it will slow down eventually.
