Another great set of images of a beautiful location. An inspiration to get up off my couch, get outdoors and with camera in hand, do some "exploring".

"There's a little waterfall here that flows into a cave. When the light is just right, you can see a bit of a rainbow in it. (Having a hard time deciding which of these views I like best - what do you think?)"

I like the vertical composition as it seems to compliment the vertical lines of the frozen waterfall. The rainbow is still visible, albeit a little less noticeable than in the horizontal orientations.

Very nice series I agree with bluenose the vertical composition does it for me. Being new to the forum I went back to some of your older posts you have a great eye for composition love your shots

I think I like the second mountain shot best because the snow makes the terrain so clear. Nice work as usual!

Nice work Mole, capturing the rainbow in the frosty falls. Looks like lady luck was with you, having the sun poke in at just the right spot to create the effect.

Another nice series!

Very cool pictures! As far as the water fall pictures go, I like the second and last ones best - the second one is a slight preference over the first one in that I like where the rainbow is, but the difference and preference is small in my opinion. I personally like the last one - it gives it a sense of place and I prefer the vertical over the horizontal one.

And I agree about the layers of the second picture (the mountain picture). I always love that look.
