Default Detroit Car Lovers

Got together with a bunch of guys and went to the Detroit Auto Show. It was a bit smaller than in the past, but still had some great looking cars. Here are a few. All taken with the DL and the kit lens at 400 ISO. Most have been cropped to some degree and a few had the background voided of distracting things.

The first is an after market Mustang GT

The second is a concept car that is supposed to get up to 100 mpg.

Can't have a car show without a Ferrari!

"More than meets the eye!"

Now some from the Brits. First a trio of Lotus creations,

A beautiful Morgan,

And finally a German sculpture.

Hope you enjoyed the show. Wish I could afford the cars!

Glenn

Not sure about the color but, I'd love to have the concept car.
But, I wouldn't turn down the Morgan either.

Hi Glenn,

A Great series!!!!

The Morgan is my favorite also. I like the way you captured it, but for me, the play of all the reflections really adds to it.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The show is designed to make the cars look good, thus the pictures generally come out pretty nice, too. That Morgan is one nice looking automobile! I'd be afraid to take it out of the garage!

An awesome series! I'm really impressed what you did with the photos - I've tried to shoot cars at the LA auto show and never liked how they came out.

I love the lines and reflections in the first one, it's an interesting picture. Dan took one look at the concept car and said "I want one", while I love the Morgan.
