Thanks again for the kind comments. The more I look at some of these the more I see the impact of distance. The gallery is a bit further back than at most normal air shows. Maybe I'll get it figured out before the last of these great airplanes rusts away.
I'll go back to try again in 2013 (50 year anniversary) or sooner for sure.

Great photos!!! You show that Pentax does very well with such action shots.

Thanks.

Nice series, I'm getting to like seeing the airshows. Thunder of Niagara airshow is May 8-9 this year so I plan on going to see it since it's right in my backyard so to speak. Get another chance to see the Snowbirds do their show. Got some good shots from last year of the Snowbirds at Rochester's air show. Thanks for posting.

The "old" K10 did a great job (as did you) - some noise is evident in the sky of some, but that is a small price to pay for such excellent shots. Thanks for posting these, and don't hesitate to post more in an additional thread or two.

Excellent series. Great panning to show the speed on you shots.

The noise on the Wildcat kinda "works" for me though. I also did that one in Black and White. I never do any noise processing. If it is too noisy for me, I just scrap it.
I will see if there are a few more (less than 5) that might interest people.
