No offense taken Ned. In fact, I appreciate Your comments. On shots like these, I try to get the blurred background as much as I can in order to isolate the subject from the busy background. Probably just my taste but it seems to make the subject stand out better.

I was using the K20 with the DA 55-300mm set at 260mm F:9.5 and 1/250sec ISO200 and I was about 3.5-4 meters away
