giving yourself limits to shoot within is a good experiment and a test of your ability and imagination
and it worked very well for you
wonderful photos and the stream picture looks like you could dip a bottle into it and drink the water

of course when you have one lens you see heaps of opportunities for every other lens you have lol

Gary - Thanks for the kind comments. Sure do hope you get great weather for your TN trip!

Ed - and thanks for looking & commenting! Indeed a great part of our country for outdoor photography.

BigDawg - it surely does have a different quality. Not sure if I like it or not...

GW - Thanks!!

Rodney - Thanks so much - no master, just blessed to have lots of falls to play in!

Gumnut - exactly the purpose of this little experiment. And yes, I did keep wishing for other lenses... Thanks!

missed these the first time mole.

very nice series. the detail shots are interesting and pleasing. and the waterfalls are always nice from you. these were no different. the whole set had pleasing contrast and colors.

a nice exercise.

Hiya! The water flow in the second picture looks the best, in my opinion. Both look great, they really do, but the second is my favourite. Beautiful scenery.

Is this place anywhere's near Hixson, TN?

Take care and all the best.

Ned - Glad you liked it! Our region is quite rich in streams because it is all hills & valleys, and (especially this year) lots of precipitation.

Hixson is close to Chattanooga TN, which is in the SE corner of our state. These photos came from Rocky Fork in Unicoi County, very close to my home in NE Tennessee, but probably about a 3-4 hour drive from Hixson. However, there are indeed some lovely stream habitats down near Hixson. Have enjoyed hiking at a place called North Chickamauga Creek State Natural Area which I believe is in or very close to Hixson. Well, when summer comes to Finland... I will have my new camera... I would like to show ya this concept that both Finns and Japanese then to have... where you walk for miles on planks of wood through beautiful scenery.

Thanks again.
