Default Family Celebration

We had a baptism this past weekend. I did some photography for the event. For the most part it looks like it went well.

Let me know what you think.

People pictured are
The newest member to our family - my cousin Jayden her grandmother and our aunt Linda.

For me the 2nd is a clear winner, it has the most comfortable composition of the 3 and a nicely isolated subject. I'm not sure if it is something in post production but they seem a bit on the soft side.

I think capturing a smile would have helped to convey the happy occasion, now is you can make a baby smile on cue that would be great lol.

Nice work Hector!
I like #2 also, excellent. Hard to get baby to smile during a baptism, usually they end up crying. I think the look you captured in the first shot is great in the sense it that it shows her opposition to the whole thing!
Congrats on the new cousin.

Congrats on the new cousin.

It really does seem this way! I didn't think about her looking like this in the first shot, but it does give you the sense she is totally opposing it or you woke me up for this?!? LOL

Hector - some really fine photos of a wonderful occassion! I agree that #2 is especially nicely done - great mood & composition. Also agree that it is rare to catch a smile at a baby baptism!
