Default Pentax K-7 and Exposure compensation

Hiya! Would anyone know if the K-7 will allow one to set .5, etc., and then take a series of three shots (-.5, 0, +.5) quickly... and the same with other exposures, such as 1, 1.5, etc... Thanks

Eetu,

I know the K20 can, so suppose the K7 does, too. You can download the K7 manual at http://www.pentaximaging.com/support/manuals-and-literature/

This way you can learn some about the camera before you get it. I know when I first get a camera I always want to try it out, not be reading the manual. So, you can do this ahead of your purchase.

Both the K7 and K20 have auto bracketing function (taking more than one frame, varying the exposure levels). They can both do 3 or 5 exposures. While you can set the K20 for up to 2 stops between frames, I think it's only capable of +/- 3 stops. The K7 can do +/- 5 stops, so it can really do 5 frames with 2 stops between frames (-4, -2, 0, +2, +4). It can also take all 5 frames with one push of the shutter, you don't have to keep pressing the shutter to take each frame.

Wow, now I really can't wait till I get my new camera... This waiting is torture. Thanks for the info, really exciting.
