Default Location... Part VI Crazy Coot...

He's just sitting there...

Then, without warning... he dives

Man... He's gone!

Then as suddenly as he disappeared... he's back again...

He "diapered"? lol

Awesome shots fella, really sharp and the colour on the water is awesome! Was out at the lake with my son earlier today and it just looked brown...

I thought "crazy" and "coot" always appeared in the same sentence, lol. Nice shots. Individual coots can be difficult to photograph; the only luck I've ever had is in winter when they can be found in rafts of hundreds on a nearby lake.

Well done, GW.

He doesn't even look like he got anything when he went under.

Crazy coot!

Thank you, Paul and Patty.
Patty, if he got anything it was gone when he came up.

Great work getting so close to the "old coot!" Great color & sharpness too - and great story to go with it!

Thank you Mole.
Speaking of color, I noticed that the blue is quite different in each photo. I find that interesting because all I did was click on the auto white balance in photo shop. you'd think they would all be the same...

I could make a bad joke about one crazy coot taking pictures of another crazy coot, but that wouldn't be nice, so I won't. Great pictures!
