Default Flowers at the Market

This has become an annual pilgrimmage (even though we make it out to this market from time to time during the year) for Easter. Figured it was a good opportunity to take a few shots of flowers so I brought the camera along.

Thanks for looking.

Really like the first one, very nice. Those hydrangea (think that's what they are, I'm not real good with plant and flower names) are sure bright, aren't they?

First one is stunning! I love the detail on the white outer leaves curled around to form the shafts of the petals. Frame that one!

Yes, they had a bunch of those on long tables at the greenhouse. The colors were so bright.

Not even sure what that first flower was called, but it did really turn out nice. My Sigma 24-135mm lens comes through again... For what I paid for this lens it has proven itself over and over again.

I might just have to do that. Thank you for the kind words.

Beautiful, vivid pics! Just what all of us in the northeast need right now, with the lanscape taking so long to wake up from the winter.

Great shots -- especially the first one -- perfect DOF to get the lower level of petals, and well framed.

Have to agree with the others, awesome pics!

I am burning with the need to go out and take some macro shots but it's still raining heavily and the only flowers out are a few daffodils that have just emerged.
