Default Some Springtime shots from last week

Have been travelling to spend time with some family during Easter, and just now had a few moments to post some spring photos from last week.

I don't usually photograph garden flowers, but our back hill of daffodills has been so bright this year!

Of course, the spring wildflowers are also blooming like crazy these days - warm damp weather and then lots of sunshine is really speeding up the season!
Here are some bloodroots and a spicebush (spicebush berries were used as seasoning by native americans and early settlers, leaves are main source of food for Spicebush Swallowtail butterflies.):

And here is a fine clump of Hepatica (three-lobed leaf reminded someone of the 3 lobes of the liver, hence the name...)

Spring is also bringing back many of the early butterflies. These little Azures are everywhere, but rarely perching for a photo!

Spring is also great for the farmland, so here are a few barn shots from last week, just to "round things out" a bit.

Looking forward to more discoveries, large and small (like this tiny mite) as spring progresses. Hope all had a wonderful, blessed Easter!

Thanks for any comments & critique.

The first barn photo is outstanding, great sky. But I also love the one with the light on the horse and the shadows beyond - excellent use of great lighting!

These are all nice, but your yellow daffodil is absolutely beautiful!
