A vote for penolta's hummingbird. I know how tough it is to get those shots. I've tried.
Thanks, Pboerger - I had been trying to catch that little bugger for quite a while. Your shot is cool, too (really too cool)!

Wish we could vote for more than one. It looks like we are spread out all over the place this time - shows how good these all are, but one has stuck in my memory since I first saw it, so I'm for Daz's twirler, possibly because there is so much motion, I don't know what she is twirling! And he is right about the contrast.

Penolta's Hummingbird for me. I am a sucker for those little marvels.

My vote has to go to daz's "I know it's a girl, but I still want to know what she's twirling" shot. LOL

She and her boyfriend are “street performers” I guess you could call them. They use hoops like Hula-hoops that they would twirl around, some times 2-3 at a time. They had all kinds in different sizes, shapes and colors. As I was trying to get a blur in daylight I needed a high contrast. Even then it was harder then I thought it would be. She kept wiggling and getting blurred too. She had hoops that had silver tape strips and that is what she was twilling.

As usual a great selection of photos. In fact I think I'm finding this month one of the most difficult to choose my favourite.

In the end I'll go for Paul's carousel

I'm going with StyleXP90's black and white. Like the framing and the sense of motion.

StyleXP90 has my vote as well. This is one of the best captures of car speed I've seen and nailed the contrast, composition, and overall effect.
