Default Tamron 70-300 birds

I finally got back to a real computer (working on a 9" screen netbook for 2 months) Some bird in flight shots from last month

That second shot is a killer ! Eyes and feet sharp as nails but movement beautifully conveyed by the wings and OOF reed background.

I take it you mean the Tammy 70 - 300 ? Glad to know I have a lens that can take photos like these !

Looks to me like your trip to Florida paid off big in the BIF department. I'm still trying to get a decent in flight shot of a Snowy. Good job my friend.
