Default All dresses up and no place to go

The Rooster Pheasant was out in the yard early this morning looking for a lady friend, but not having much luck.

A fine looking specimen.

The thread title is even finer.

Nice pix..but I'll admit, I had a different picture in my mind when you said.."All dresses up...."

Its a bugger having a 'mind' like mine...

I know it should have been dressed, but once you commit yourself to the title you have to live with what you typed.

He sure was strutting his stuff, with his feathers all puffed out, but no one showed up to his party even though he was looking good.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Poor little guy. Hope he puts his suit away for a future try.

What a beautiful bird - hope he's successful soon. They really are pretty in their breeding plumage and your picture does a wonderful job of portraying it.
