Good review!

Not sure I would want the chest part, but a holster type arrangement around the waist would be ideal for me. I normally carry the camera in my hand, and sling the bag on my back once I know which lens I will need at the time. Most of the time I am out with my son, so need to either hold his hand or give him a carry when he is tired (at which point a chest mount system would get in the way)

I absolutely hate neck straps, the camera bounces around (I don't walk as such, I march as fast as I can without breaking stride into a jog/run), and it chafes after a while, that and I don't like putting 1200 worth of gear at the mercy of a 30 pence nylon strap.

Might look into buying the holster, as it's airshow season soon, and my brother in law likes to drag me out to see all the old WWII airshows.

Kevin, its one of those things that's only worth it if you really need it.
In my case, I felt I needed it because of my bad back, and that makes it worth every penny.
I spent 10 hours walking around at the World Expo today ...... do I qualify ?

Ashely, under those conditions you're probably correct, the holster seems to be your best bet.

Kevin, that qualifies you for walking photographer of the month!

And if I had tried that without the CC I'd be in traction for sure.

I'm paying for it now - I can hardly move today ! Worse part ? I've only seen about 1/10 of the exhibits so far, the Expo is monstrously huge !
