Welcome back, Lou. I'm jealous of your trip, but I also envy the memories you'll be enjoying for months as you go through and process all those DVD;s. That's one of the great things about photography as a hobby. You can enjoy a vacation as much afterwards as you did while gone.

Opera House photo is stunning. You nailed the lighting.

John - G'day to you as well. It was G'day for a week and a half in OZ and then Kiaora in NZ.

You guys seem to have a penchant for wild entertainment. Bungee jumping seemed to be prevalent eveywhere. Jet boats, Hang gliding, sky diving, para-sailing, bridge climbing, you name it. I never took so many wild cable car rides in my life. I loved every minute I was in your country. I only wish I could have stayed longer and seen more.

All the people I encountered were awesome including a couple of Tassies I met along the way.

Rodney - Thanks, I was thinking of you when I was in Port Douglas. I sent you a greeting in reply to your post while I was away but don't know if you got it or not.

Paul - Yes I agree with you that vacations live a long time with us due to photography. The pictures from our trips are always on our computer screens as wallpaper and we change them daily and relive our experiences.

Okay, Lou. I couldn't wait until tomorrow like I said in my e-mail after I thought about what you'd told me today what you photographed. This is stunning! You did a great job.

You'd better hurry up and get that Zenfolio site set up so we can see more. If all the other places you've told me you saw are as wonderful as this, I can hardly wait.

Patty and Lyrics, thanks. I'm still loading cd's into my computer, only 9 more left. More nice night shots of Sydney and some of Auckland and Wellington as well.
