Really like nr1,
nr2 although sharp enough has a to dark background imho.
Did a quick lightning up of the background and it's a lot better.
nr3 spot on, nr4 and 5 are the least of the set.

Looks like you're getting the hang of the lens

Cheers

Ronny

Second oppurtunity was at Wilpattu wild life sanctuary in Sri Lanka
Some shots are cropped as object was very far away, and only could just catch their images;

The second bird is a rare one (cant remember the species)

The leopard was very very far away, but nevetheless not aly less menacing

Both birds are new to me, very interesting. thanks for posting.
nice shot of the Leopard. I guessing these are all in there natural habitat and not caged in?

Sure look like you're getting the hang of the lens. The one of the Mynah is quite sharp! How far away were you from the leopard? It looks like it has spotted you

@goldwinger....Wilpattu is a wildlife sanctuary spanning around 150,000 hectares (according to our guide). All are in the natural habitat of course.

@jelpee...The leapard was around 75m away ..But it did look right through at me
you know, It was kinda crazy coz we got the idea to go to wilpattu at noon, and when we went there it was 4pm, and the guide told us that for 2 hrs we had vey low chance of spotting a leopard as some people who stay from 6am to 6pm dont get to see it. So we were very lucky. We also got to see a huge bear, but it was 6.15pm and very dark. My lens cant handle it (Wish I had a star lens )

@shoturtle..Thank you.

@rhermans, Nice critique, perhaps I shouldve increased f to around 11-15 for last 2 shots, and also remember my handshake is also bad

Guys, was this the legendary vivitar 105mm (Macro)?

Went for 75US?

No - the Viv 105 is a prime macro lens, the one being auctioned is a zoom. It's probably a pretty nice lens since its a Series One. I don't know anything about this one, though.
