Default Election Day in Kentucky

For who should I vote...?

And this are just candidates on the Republican primaries.

a few weeks ago the goverment* decided to stop again so we're gonna see the same (other parties/people) stuff appearing over here.

Like the way how they paced the plates.

Cheers

Ronny

*(living in Belgium we've got 5 goverments so it doesn't really matter - a dutch, french, german, brussels[combination of dutch/french] and federal, all with their ministers and ... in a small country )

Ronny...this is a typical landscape for the weeks leading up to election day in the US. Additionally, in smaller towns like where I live, candidates visit neighborhoods campaigning door-to-door, and the phones ring constantly with political messages. I rather enjoy the whole thing...except the phone calls (thank goodness for "caller-ID" on my phone)! The next election is in November..can't wait

Winston Churchill said, "Democracy is the worst form of government, but it's better than all the rest."

Jelpee, your photo says it all! I wouldn't call our system completely chaotic, but it's close. A woman who works in my office is British, though she has lived in the US for more than 25 years. She says the US political system still completely baffles her.

I used to get tired of coming home to an answering machine full of taped political messages. We no longer have a land-line.

I always know my mailbox will be full at election time, candidates are always sending out stuff. Now to sit down and look at what propositions are on the ballot. I'm tempted to vote no on all of them, even though I have no clue what they are right now.

Rand Paul, third from right was the winner. Another Winston Churchill. "Americans will always do the right thing, but they try everything else first."
