Default My apologies..a few small birds

I know you are probably bored with them but this is all I have time to shoot right now.

Never bored of these Dawg!

The second one is just superb, great capture, he looks so adorable!

The second to last shot (hummingbird?) is just beautiful as well.

I would be very happy if we had the same variety that you have.

Nr2 is (imho) the best of the series and I really wish we had hummingbirds

Cheers

I like all the shots, specially the ones with natural surroundings, and also am interested in the lens, iso, distance you shot, and also post processing.

Solid series as always, Ed. I really like the two downies. The hummingbird shot is very unusual. Not often you see one of them sitting on a feeder.

Another vote for the hummingbird ! And the woodpecker shots .. I love woodpeckers, they seem such ....well, loners, a bit like the Clint Eastwood cowboys of the bird world.

Some lovely shots Ed.

Thank you one and all. Chesslanka, these were shot from between 30-60 feet in distance from my front porch. Vey little post processing except for a small touch of sharpening and on one or two I used a noise reduction filter. One or two were cropped a little too I think. The EXIF data should be still embedded and readable. Shot with a K7 camera and a Sigma 50-500mm APO DG EX lens at 500mm. I used f/8 and ISO 1600 I believe as it was overcast on most of these and in a shaded area. All shot hand held while sitting in my rocking chair with my pipe and a beer close at hand.
