Default Spotted Cucumber Beetle

While investigating a nearby municipal rose garden as a possible location for a model shoot, I found this bug munching on a plant.

first idea I had was that it looked a bit like a green ladybug.

Very cool shot! It shows that it's always a good idea to have a macro lens in the bag all the time and to keep a close eye on other things. Do you have any idea what it is? It's pretty.
