Default Green spider 3:1

Found these two cucumber spiders in the garden.

Females grow up to 8 mm, males only up to 5 mm.
The first shot is sligthly cropped (tried some focus stacking on it), next full frame, third cropped a bit of the left side.
Enlargement 3:1 (1:1macro + Raynox dcr250),
first time this worked with a little support from a monopod (camera not mounted on it)

I don't know if the last is a male, or a young female.

Also used lightroom3 for the first time, the noise removal is imho the most important enhancement.
Imho better than noiseninja that I have been using (until now). Still 29days of trial to go

Some great shots there Ronny !

There is no Exif though - can you tell us (do you remember !) what aperture / shutter speed were you using ?

Great detail, Ronny. Really like the way the colors pop.

Thanks, forgot to add them so already edited the post, but they are all f11 and 1/125sec, 125 - 200 - 200 iso.

up till now iso 400 has somehow been the max I would go with flash and macro, now with the new noise reduction in lr3 I think I can go higher.

I really like these Ronny. love the 3D effect and great bokeh.
I think I'm going to have to get one of those Raynox lenses.

Same here!

Awesome shots mate, the focus is spot on and so sharp, I always thought something like this would have degraded the image quality somewhat, but this is just stunning. Might order me one of these at the end of the month.

Badum-tish!

Yeah very impressed by this, and to be honest it's cheap enough not to really worry about, even if the results weren't this good.
