Got caught in another downpour on Holston Mt, but got back home safely, and in time to see the sun come out, and the dragonflies & damselflies out sunning too!

Looking forward to another week of sun & storms and more "adventures" on the trail!

Thanks for looking, and for any comments, critique & suggestions!

Thanks so much John - glad you enjoyed these. Those were indeed amazing skies over the mountains that day!

PS - one of my dogs tried to eat the toad, but quickly learned that toads give off nasty-tasting secretions. Both dog & toad are fine...

Mole strikes again. You are one of the most complete outdoor photographers around. From the misty trail through the woods to the bug's eye, your shots shine.

7, 8, 9, and 11 are stunning!

For me the second cobweb shot is better, I assume that was with the flash?

Just wish I had the free time to go out and take as many shot as you do, as it stands I only get 30-40 minutes at lunchtime each weekday, and it's in the same place each time.

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. My favs are the mountains fading into the mist. And the misty forest scenes!

Pboerger - You are so kind - glad you enjoyed these! I am blessed to live in such a rich and diverse place...

Ronny - Thanks so much!

Tachikoma - Yes, the 2nd is with the flash. Thanks for the input!
By the way, some of my photos are taken while at work, but all of these were on days off - I guess I just get more time off than you do. But you sure find some amazing photo opportunities in the moments you have!

Tacticdesigns - Thanks so much for the kind and helpful input.
