Seeing these shots I just had an image of a CSI morgue flash into my head

It's great practice GW - you can work on the flash / technique etc. and then take it on the road !

So much life in these photos, despite the moth's demise! Wonderful job with lighting and clarity - and I agree with your comments on #3 - makes me worry what I did wrong to get mom so mad!!
