Default Sunset over the hills

was taken 10m from my back door looking out over the fields to the hills in the distance - would have been nice if there was some foreground interest i could have taken in sillouette but really nothing pretty around here infact had to be careful not to let things spoil the shot lol

had a little play in photoshop to make it slightly truer to how my eye saw it - then a another tweak just to add some punch in the colours

so pretty! i love that there is just that tiny amount of foreground detail, better than having just the sky as pretty as it is.

Gorgeous shot,JP!
One of the things I miss most here in Florida is the mountains.
Not that we don't have nice sunsets, just no mountains.

Lovely sky, excellent shot! I'd love to be standing there, admiring such a beautiful sunset. It's now summer so the sky is mostly cloudless, very boring. I envy you such a beautiful scene.

Beautiful photo of a beautiful scene! Especially nice capture of the sunbeams through the clouds...
