Default Loxahatchee Yesterday

Some shots on my first trip out after getting my camera back.

Pentax K7, DA* 300mm F4, Vivitar 90 180mm f4.5 Macro

1 - Juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk (From Nest I Followed this year)

2 - Cruising Gator

3 - Red-shouldered Haw (Adult From Nest I Followed this year)

4 - Grasshoppers

5 - Dragonfly, real close

Classic croc shot and the dragon in particular is excellent !

Think you are going to enjoy macro at 180 !

all great shots, but really like the dragon macro.
To my knowledge, Ive yet to see that species up close. With that flat face the look like they had a close encounter with a solid object at high speed.

All great byt I really love the croc shot, but that because we don't have them and on pictures they can bother you.

So glad your camera is back in your talented hands!
All are wonderful - great subjects, color, composition, lighting...
The perspective and detail on the Red-Shouldered Hawk make this one especially stand out for me!
