You haven't seen fireworks in four years? Go for it next year. They are fun to shoot.

Haha, no, I took that shot 4 years ago, I've been to fireworks every year since, just haven't been able to get good fireworks shots since that first time. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but they just don't seem to come out the way I hope for.

There are articles on the web that I followed to get my shots. Basically, it's a tripod, ISO 400 and shutter priority mode from 10 to 20 second.

ps: it's fake, sorry , its something I combined for a new-years card this year, but it's the best fireworks I've got.

I have been tempted to create a super fireworks shot. I have sucessfully resisted so far. The possiblities, however, are spectacular, as shown by the shot above.
