Default Turky Delight

It has been busy at my feeder. Yesterday a Cooper's Hawk came into our yard, landed in a pine tree near my feeder and dove down and grabbed a Chipmunk and flew off with it all in the bat of an eye.

This morning I found a Turkey and 5 chicks eating seed off the ground. I was able to get some pictures through two panes of glass. Shots were taken with the Tamron 18-250. Low light conditions and had to use ISO 3200. Camera was K-7. Did not use a CP due to low light so some faint window glare in places.

At 1:15 today they returned to eat seed that I threw on the ground for them. There were only 3 chicks and the mother. I hope the other two did not run into a hungry predator.

That's pretty cool, Lou.
Lots of action right in the back yard!
Nice going.
