Default Market Street

I walk down market street every day to work, but never bring a camera with me. I brought it this week, and thought that I would share with you some of my favorite parts of my walk and from work.

First of all, the famous Chattanooga Choo-Choo. (a hotel/train museum which used to be a train station. very fancy.)

next, an abandoned building which would probably cost more to rebuild than it would to knock it down and start over. it used to be fancy a long time ago. i love all the broken out windows, and there is a tree literally growing through a wall in the back:

one of my favorite things on my walk is an old rusty coffee advertisement.

All are very nice compositions...and show a lot of character such as the broken window panes, the roots through the wall, etc. Thanks for showing us a part of your home town!

I enjoyed the tour but found it somewhat depressing (not because of the photography !) - I loved the shot of the tree growing through the wall though. I think I'd spend some time trying out all sorts to see what really works best on that tree - huge potential for a killer shot there.

Some real fun photos, Vole!
I love the tree shot. Looks like the tree is the only thing that's holding the building together!
