I have tried to also improve the composition of the first one. What do you guys think, is this a slight improvement or should I keep to the first photo?

Here is a BEFORE and AFTER

I think I like the before picture. The one you cropped looks better than I thought it would - I thought by cropping rather than cloning it would make the picture less balanced but it works OK in my opinion.

I like #1 best, but I think it would have been even better had the white of the clouds not been right next to the white of the flower.

I hear ya Lyrics51, just wanted to get out there and experiment... sort the first time I tried such a thing... but when I someday get a better lense than my current kit lens, I plan to reshoot a few photos... keeing in a mind a blue sky for the daisy is an excellent idea! Many kind thanks. Ned

Some really great shots of the daisy and sky - some really fine and unique perspectives!
#1 has especially fine color and detail, but I really like the balance and composition on the last one. Perhaps try cloning out the bit of flare on the left?

Hi Mole! Thanks for your kind words, indeed. And, always appreciate specific advice! I thought about cloning out the flare, too, as it is just not productive in any way in this photo. Thanks again. Ned

These are just amazing!
I was finding it hard to decide which one I liked best, and then realized I like all of them. <smile>

Hey Ned,
These are all very nice in my opinion, with #1 as the most outstanding. the only thing that bothers me is the little black dot on the petal between the 8 & 9 o'clock position. Its just a small thing but, its a little distracting to me.

Hi John! Thanks for pointing out the black dot! It is only good for me when someone "takes the time" to really look and see what needs improving. So many kind thanks for that. Below is the original and the second is, what I hope, a slightly improved composition of the daisy. I just wish I could white the daisy petals without messing up the back ground or making things worse.
