Default Jamestown a few weeks ago

A few from our trip to Jamestown, RI on our anniversary. We are going to have to go back another day when it's not so hot. It was sweltering that day. We spent a lot of time at the tip of the island where the breeze was blowing.

I'm going to have to work on my processing skills. Looks like I'm rusty.

LOL! I know what you mean. I can see another reason for spending most of your time where you did - lovely scenery. For some reason, I just love the second one, but all are quite good.

Beautiful, Patty!
Looks like a lovely place to get away from it all.

Patty, I've never been to Jamestown but these pictures make me want to go and have a look. Love that first surf shot

Thanks, Harriet. That second one I must have spent 30 minutes shooting the water flowing over the rocks. I was even amazed that huge crops of some of these came out quite well. I may post some of them in another post later this week.

Frogfish - Thanks. That first one was the first shot of the day. The surf was amazing that day. My posting will be delayed a few days due to surgery again tomorrow. But, hopefully in a few days I can get back here.

John and Lou - yep, it is lovely. We didn't spend much time there. Ended up over in Newport when it came time to eat because Jamestown prides itself on having no chain stores/restaurants. So, we'll be going back sometime.

Hope the surgery goes well and there's no surprises or complications. Take care of yourself and I'll be thinking of you.
