Default More Nova Scotia pics

Here are a few taken from the ferry, Atlantic Vision during our trip back to Newfoundland. Nasty sky shot has the freight ferry Lief Ericson in the lower right. The others are of the sunset.

I love these too Ira.

Amazing clouds in #1 but I especially like #2 even though you can see the boat is at an angle to the sunset - you should try HDRing that one

I like them all but #3 is the clear winner for me. #1 is indeed an angry sky but a lot of drama in it.

Very nice shots! While I always love sunsets I think (for once) that I prefer the first one. Very moody and interesting cloud study.

Nice shots, Ira.
Hmm... "the freight ferry Leif Ericson", interesting. Are there any excavations open to the public on New Foundland?

There is a viking reconstruction, from archeological evidence, at L'Anse aux Meadows on the Northern Peninsula. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, L'Anse aux Meadows likely represents the first European contact with the New World, more than 1,000 years ago and 500 years before Columbus. http://www.canada.com/topics/travel/...8-f08729813371

All good, but I kind of like #2, probably because it evokes nostalgic memories.
