Default Morning On Main

As I turned on my street this morning I looked in the rear view mirror to see a great sunrise in the making so I quickly parked, ran in and got the camera , ran out into the street and tried to get some shots before I got ran over !! These ore the better ones , levels and lighting fiddled with a bit in PSE7. Oh and cropped some too.

Wow! Beautiful colors, definitely worth photographing. I like how you used the street lights, since you couldn't avoid them.

Thanks Mtngal.........the uploaded versions are a bit more fuzzy than the originals but yes the colors were amazing in real life On my first shot or two I did not notice the street lights then when I chimped the shots I saw how prominent the lights were so in subsequent shots I used them as sort of a base I am sure that the morning drivers were wondering what the idiot standing in the middle of the road was doing !

Frogfish, it was indeed beautiful.......but fleeting. One thing that continualy puzzles me is that so many folks go day to day and seem never to notice such things as a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Even common birds like a BlueJay are are wonderful to observe. So many people with so many cares robbing them of all the wonder around them...............

Very true Bock. I think that as photographers we are very lucky indeed, as since I have taken up this hobby I find that I notice so much more around me than I ever did before.

As soon as I saw the first shot, I thought how interesting it would be to crop just the streetlights in. Scroll down, bingo!
