Default Overcast Day

Late summer in the garden:











I don't know what variety this little guy/gal is, but there are two of them that aren't very freindly to one another. They almost hit me in the head during one of their chases. The flutter of their wings make a zzzzzzz sound.

I really love your hummingbird shots - it would be fantastic to have these little wonders on my doorstep. What lense are you using ?

Thanks for the comments - on these I was using a Tamron 70-300mm Di.

Great color & composition on all of these. Especially like the 2nd (is that sage?) with the rich red, and the amazing feather detail on the perched hummingbird!
