Oh, nice images - I like that kind of landscape! The (extreme) wide angle caused some distortions - or at least I think I see distortions...

As for the sharpness - I tried some "correction" on your last image - were you aiming at something like this?

Regards,
Th.

Thanks for nice comments everyone.

I tried ticking this sharpening option in irfanview and they do come out better looking, I'll use it next time.

Well first of all I'd love to switch to at least k200 mainly for SR but money is quite tight , so I just spend 260 GBP for tamron 17-50mm 2.8 lens. For me 6MP is enough, I don't print bigger than 5x7" and since I shoot mostly landscape with 10mm I can live without SR anyway, but if I could I would get something newer.
Besides I think it's the lens that makes difference so that's why I went for Tamron. It's suppose to be massive improvement over kit lens, and that's what I wanted to upgrade for a while now. I'll test it on my one year old kid when it arrives.

Well, good high ISO performance and some better speed is high on my wishlist, along with shake reduction. I was thinking to look for at least a used K100d for a while, but I started to save for a K-x now. 6mp is usually enough for me, if I need more I take panorama shots - so the higher resolution is nice, but not the main reason.

I have/use older manual lenses mostly, in the wide angle department I'll have to go for a "digital" lens probably, I am leaning towards the Tammy 10-24 at the moment (bang-for-the-buck thingie). We'll see, what Santa or 2011 has in store for me
