Correction, this was my Sigma 150-500mm f 5.6-6.3 HSM

That purply blue heron purporting to be a green heron ..... is fantastic, great shot ! Even then it's only just a notch above the others !

That first heron shot is awesome! Also like the red wing blackbird, they are fun to watch. That DA*300 just shines in your hands.

Such great colors & composition on big birds & small. Got to love the open-beaked blackbird! Favorite is the first - that light shining through his beak!!

the Red wing is one I'm still trying to get a really good shot of.
