The '38 Mike. What a gorgeous car, real class.

Mike these are all great shots of some fine looking vehicles. Your panning shots were wonderful.

I enjoyed all the pictures in your Picasa album as well.

Love the panning shots, really well done. The one good thing about the weather was that you didn't have to fight with deep shadows and super bright sunlight.

Thanks Lou, I'm glad you enjoyed the album. I spent a bit of time matching the drivers/car info with the photos from the official SVRA entry list from their website.

Very true about the weather, but I would have preferred a little sun at least. Thanks for looking.

Great Pic. I am new to DSLR, can you tell me what kind of setting are you using to take these pictures?

Basically, for the panning shots I used Shutter Priority (Tv) and set for a shutter speed between 1/150-1/200. I set a shutter of 1/2000 catch the still shot of the old alfa crossing the start/finish line with the checkered flag waving. Otherwise about normal shooting for the still shots based on the available lighting.
