Withe the Kx you don't need to go into the menu but you do need to press the INFO button, then find the metering icon and use the wheel to change modes.

Yes mtngal that is what I was talking about. I'm used to having a button to push to change it but since I mostly shoot long glass i tend to leave it on centerweighted ave anyway. Might not be a big deal in the end, just something i have to get used to.

As for the actual comparison I hope to get to it soon.
