I'm a sucker for both great waterfall shots as well as aircraft. Both images are top notch, but by a nose, Abieleck's waterfalls edged out Paul's F-16 Thunderbirds.

I've seen the Thunderbirds peform and they are awesome. I now need to get to the Columbia River Gorge to see these falls!

My vote goes to Kashka. A simple scene beautifully lit and photographed.

There are so many great contenders. After going through these pages, I cast vote for Mole's image re his careful choice (different shapes 1-lobe, 2-lobe, 3-lobe).

Ok since BB2 has excluded himself from the voting then I'm going to vote for Paul's (Tojansoc) 3 fighter jets. I'm a sucker for aircraft shots.

Mole's choice and arrangement of leaves kind of struck me, but, then, I am a sucker for close-ups. Lots of good ones, but I will "leave" it at that.

BTW - because I've been thinking about this and since I'm a pedantic sod .....

I'm calling a Point of Order on BB2's shot exclusion.

Time zones don't mean zip in the context of this competition because the actual competition posting appears at exactly the same time for everyone (the folks in Oz don't get a 12 hours advance warning !) therefore the finishing time is exactly the same for all whatever time zone you happen to be in.

Ergo BB2's entry is valid.

Sorry if this upsets anyone - I'm really really tired (I'm acting as Tiger's chauffeur at the HSBC event in Shanghai and only getting 4 or 5 hours sleep a night as on constant standby).
