Easy there, buddy. Take a deep breath, count to 10 slowly, and everything will be OK.
Oh, and get some sleep!

I happen to agree with Frogfish, but the entry was withdrawn for the sake of peace. Peace it is.

A lil' update - we still miss 6 votes from the people, that posted images. It would be nice if we could collect the votes over the weekend

Thanks Mole. Since my hometown is Buffalo, NY, I am quite comfortable not winning anything - (Buffalo Bills 0-7, Buffalo Sabres 3-8-2 (0-6 at home) University At Buffalo Bulls 2-7). The only bright spot is my public school district's senior high football team is undefeated and ranked #1 in NY State.

In the local news today: The EPA, DEA, Public Health Department, and Homeland Security were called to the Buffalo Bills practice this morning as the team halted practice when one of the players found a strange white powder on the practice field. After careful examination and analysis it was determined that the unfamiliar white powder was in fact the goal line. The local, state, and Federal agencies cleared the facilities for resumption of practice and stated that the chances of the team encountering this substance again is remote.

Given the Bills record, it is not surprising they did not recognize the goal line. Sorry, couldn't resist. Niners fan here, in the same position.

Although it may not have been the most dramatic image I think that Bluenose has done the best job of capturing the essence of the challenge, here we have three variations, texture and "degree" of colour in the vases and size in the stands (plinths?). This to me makes this image uniquely fitted to this challenge.

Sorry for the commentary but I saw so many impressive images this month that I felt a little rationale was in order.

BTW I have had no internet connection for over a week now so I manage to get on occasionally from school.

I know I voted the other day, but don't see it here. Must have done something wrong. Anyway, since the count isn't taken yet I'll put my vote in again.

I vote for the Kashka's hay stacks. It is something every fall I always try to capture and either don't get it right or I don't have my camera with me.

So, Kashka's hay stacks get my vote.

We are still missing the votes from bock1965 and Trojansc - so I thought I'll wait just a bit longer. I sent a PM to them already.

By the way - how do we handle a tie? (Just in case...)
