Default More Color

Sun was going down so I went across the street to shoot a few of the neighbors leaves. Was playiing around with an older vivitar 2.8 135mm M42 with a 2X closeup lens. The following are some of the results.

Okay, now I really do have to get out tomorrow and shoot some of the color now that I've mostly recovered from my last treatment. That is if the wind and rain haven't knocked all the leaves down.

I love, love, love the second shot. It may not be the best of the images, but the blue against the red is stunning.

i like the colour combination in 1
a great autumn leaf

the bright blue is a bit distracting for me in the second
i had the same thing happen taking jellyfish photos at our aquarium

The color combo in the second was somewhat serendipitous. I was focusing on the leaf not using flash and not paying too much attention to the late evening sky in the background. Once I checked my monitor on the camera I saw what had happened then shot a couple more to make sure I had at least one in decent focus.

Thanks for the positive comments! I love fall! chris

Nice contrast of color in # 2 (favorite).

#1 awesome detail.

While I like the color in #2, I prefer both of the other shots. I really like that first one - sharp, good color and simple. The third one worked really well - I've tried something similar a couple of times but they've never quite worked right. Yours, with the turned down ends of the leaves, works really well. Very nice.

All are pretty, Bock. #1 is the standout IMO.

Beautiful maples, beautifully photographed. Wonderful colors in #2, very nice textures in #1. The shadows in #3 are just a little distracting (for me...)
