Default Greetings from the Biltmore Mansion Asheville NC

Tired from a day of walking up and down stairs and steep hills. Tomorrow the Blue Ridge Parkway and more fall foliage than one human should have to endure...Oh well...good thing I brought the camera along...LOL

Great photos....the sky is really terrific. And, they laid out the red carpet for you to stay in which room?

Good to hear from you Big Dawg, things are a little greener there than where I am

I await the fall foliage, remember that fall where I am happened on a Tuesday about three weeks ago. Between Noon and 2:45pm I believe.

. . .And I thought I'd left explicit instructions to the staff that photography wasn't allowed at my summer cabin. . .

I't soooo hard to find good help these days. . .

Hey Big Dawg,
Where you been hiding my friend?
Linda and I went to the Biltmore last year on our vacation. It is quite a Place!
However, after checking on the price of lodging on the premises... we decided to spend the night a couple blocks down the street, it was only $110 for the night.

Nice shots! Some day I'd like to visit such places on the east coast, but until then, I'll enjoy your pictures.

I'm looking forward to your fall foliage. We don't get much color outside trees that people have planted. This year doesn't look like it's going to be much - the cottonwoods are just starting to go a bit yellow and it's supposed to stay warm for a while.
