Default Distant Early Warning line site

This was shot just over a month ago, things change fast up here. I pushed the saturation and sharpening just a little on this one.

Neat photo! Wonder if that was considered a hardship tour? I would think it would deserve that designation during the long winter.

Was this part of what they referred to as the DEW line (Distant Early Warning) during the cold war?
