Default Fire on the water

Companion to my fire in the sky post. Same lake, same time just this time of the water surface. Heavily tweaked with Elements and Detail. I like the effect but YMMV. Comments, suggestions welcome. Enjoy.

Another very vibrant and interesting photo - it's tough to get good focus in reflections, but you did very well here.

Might consider cloning out the one skinny leafless tree towards the right, but that's just personal taste...

Thanks. Just got these by accident. Rain shortened the work day enough I had time to kill before meeting someone so I figured I check out the lake on the way. Maybe it was the storm that caused such beautiful colors. Whatever it was i will now have an excuse to go back to the lake at dusk even more.

Thanks. You're right about that tree but that sounds like a lot of work, not very good at cloning things out yet and make them not obvious. I'll have to try and see though, could be worth the effort. Thanks for the suggestion and compliments.

Oh, BTW Mole you are so right. Going thru what i shot was kinda depressing in terms of the number of shots way out of focus.

great photo here! The composition/color is well balanced and very pleasing to the eyes. I love the reflection of the silhouette, havent seen many photos like this, if any.

well done
