i have to admit i do like old cars
there is a certain sense of stying about them missing in todays plastic cars

i used to have a couple of lotus and they were favourites because of the styling

but my kids played with them and the wheels fell of so they got chucked in the bin
sigh

There were two big negatives to the show form a photographer's perspective. there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the sun was so bright it made good exposure nearly impossible, and so was getting shots without a bunch of people in the way! In spite of all that, we managed to take over 1000 photos.
Anyway, I'm tired and cranky so, I'm only going to post one of the cars as a teaser for what's to come, then I'm going to head for the recliner an watch a little TV before heading to bed.
This is a 1961 Lotas Super Seven. It was so little it surprised me. It only weighs less than 200lbs more than my motorcycle.

Looks like a really fun car to drive.
I wouldn't mind having one but, I'd need a rope and a skyhook just to get in and out of it!
That's nice. I want to see it in personal. When is the next antique car and boat show? I hope to see you there.

Hello, and welcome to the forum!
Well, this years Lake Mirror Classic show is over now and as far as I know, the next one will be next October. But they have smaller shows from time to time around the County. If you like, I'll be happy to send you a heads up when ever I see one is scheduled.

Hi!
I'm also a newbie here and wanted to share that I love what Goldwinger posted but I won't even squeeze in for the race car driving school. Hope to come across a larger version someday

That's pretty cool, Ira. Looks a bit more serious than the one I shot!

Hey Handfore, Welcome aboard!
Don't be afraid to jump in and post some photos and get acquainted.
